During an internship with Tyndale House Publishers, I developed email campaign content to drive sales and engagement for two key campaigns: Fall into Fiction and Pastor Appreciation Month. I tested subject lines and scheduled via HubSpot (CRM and marketing platform), achieving open rates up to 17% above industry expectations. These represent three samples of my work:
Additionally, I have experience using Bloomerang, a CRM tool for nonprofits, to send out email blasts for the Central California Bleeding Disorders Foundation, and over six years of experience managing a personal newsletter through Mailchimp.

Are the trees in your neighborhood changing color yet? As children, we all gathered a pile of leaves and jumped in, right? Maybe you still do as an adult. There is nothing more satisfying than the crunch of that crisp foliage.
I worked with Ash Egler, Tyndale’s email marketing specialist, to write copy for email campaigns, test subject lines, and schedule emails via HubSpot. I created an email announcement for the Fall into Fiction campaign with the goal of delighting current fans, encouraging further purchases, and optimizing open rates and click-through rates.
50% off your church’s first order
If you haven’t met before, allow us to introduce you to Church Connect—a website to help build up the church by serving ministries.
When I was given the responsibility of creating promotional content for Pastor Appreciation Month, I reached out to Dan Ehrman, director of church relations and strategy, to discuss a special collaboration and discount. I wrote this email as part of a coordinated effort to make more readers aware of Church Connect’s resources.
Don’t forget to honor your pastor!
Did you know that October is Pastor Appreciation Month? Our leaders are worthy of “great respect and wholehearted love” (1 Thessalonians 5:12–13) for the way that they shepherd, teach, equip, and build up our churches.
I wrote this email to raise awareness of Pastor Appreciation Month, share practical ideas for readers to appreciate their pastors, and foster a sense of community.
